The De Group Piling project at The National Gallery - Sunley Lightwell, was an unusual one, to say the least, an infill extension at the Grade I listed building comprised of seven levels of office space and ancillary accommodation.
The works were adjacent to the existing National Portrait Gallery and therefore access was limited, as well as the necessity for any noise and vibration to be at a minimum during the project’s duration.
