In 2016 Deconstruct (UK) Ltd secured an £26m package for the Department for Education to carry out extensive structural alterations and asbestos removal within the listed structures at The Old Admiralty Building on The Mall, central London.

The buildings were constructed around 1900-1912 and were traditionally built with masonry, concrete and steel frames and therefore modernisation of the extensive space required significant structural alteration.

The works demanded significant temporary works and new structural steel, all of which is designed by our in-house team.
